About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Product Marketing Manager with experience in delivering highly effective product marketing campaigns for SaaS businesses within the automotive engineering sector. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, Product and Business Development teams, you will help us effectively articulate features and capabilities across a variety of materials and target audiences, taking technical information and turning it into compelling and marketable materials. You will be a champion for the voice of the customer at Secondmind, developing an in-depth understanding of our customers’ needs and experiences.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Assisting in creating effective and high-quality product marketing materials, such as use cases, whitepapers, blogs, and presentations, to differentiate our products in the market.
  • Managing the product marketing and content roadmaps.
  • Updating and maintaining the company website to enhance SEO and user engagement.
  • Assisting in planning, preparing materials, managing logistics, engaging attendees, and analyzing event effectiveness for industry events.
  • Managing social media interactions, creating engaging content, monitoring metrics, and contributing to strategy development to enhance brand engagement.
  • Supporting the communication of product vision and value to the business development team, and developing tools that support the selling process.
  • Helping the organization and execution of new product launches, collaborating with multiple teams and external partners.
  • Collaborating with the product team to gather insights on customer usage of current products, identify new opportunities, and understand buyer personas through data from interviews, surveys, and group discussions.
  • Researching competitor offerings to inform team discussions.

What skills, experience, and qualifications do you need to succeed in this role?

  • Domain knowledge: A foundational understanding of the trends and customer needs in the CAE and CAD markets is desirable.
  • Product marketing experience and a willingness to learn, show initiative and take on new opportunities in a fast-growing company.
  • Agency management: Effective collaboration with external agency partners to drive the coordination and execution of campaigns, ensuring alignments with our company goals.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the use of effective project management techniques to contribute to timely and successful project deliveries.
  • Sustainability-driven approach that supports and promotes sustainable practices within product marketing.
  • Creative thinking that brings fresh ideas and drives innovation at Secondmind.
  • Strong teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with multiple teams across the business, including business development, product, marketing, engineering, and senior executives.
  • Strong communication and copywriting skills that result in clear, engaging and accurate content and the ability to contribute to presentations development and product storytelling.
  • Research skills: assist in gathering insights into customer needs and experiences, including helping with data analysis, surveys, and customer interviews.
