About the role

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with SaaS and cloud experience to join our Customer Experience team. In the role you will be pivotal in the future of the organisation, by leading product related strategic discussions with the senior leadership team.

This role reports to the Director of Customer Experience and you will be working alongside an ace team of Solutions Engineers, Program Managers and User Experience pros.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Evolving and driving the product vision, strategy, goals and long-term roadmap.
  • Engaging with customers and business stakeholders to develop an understanding of common transformation challenges faced by our customers.
  • Evangelising the product internally with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Support technical pre-sales with product know-how at times of customer engagements.
  • Understanding the competitive landscape and leveraging insights to drive differentiation into Secondmind products.
  • Working with marketing to guide product positioning, messaging and narrative.
  • Providing a coherent status report for senior leadership, in internal governance meetings.
  • Leading the definition and refinement of user stories, to build valuable features and capabilities.
  • Supporting all aspects of Scrum framework including backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retros and release planning.

What skills, experience, and qualifications do you need to succeed in this role?


  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a Product Management role, ideally in automotive, software or machine learning.
  • Proven track record of defining and bringing new software or SaaS solutions to market - from concept to customer.
  • Strong influencing skills; with proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Customer first mindset, easy to collaborate with, transparent and dependable.
  • Proven track record of translating customer feedback and other inputs into compelling user stories that lead to differentiate product features and capabilities.
  • Working knowledge of using the Scrum framework for software development.
  • Comfortable with change, and adept at managing multiple deadlines and delivering under pressure.


  • Hands-on experience or deep understanding of Machine learning.
  • Degree in Business, Technology or related fields.
  • Familiarity with Jira or other task management software.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK or internationally on an as-needed basis.
